Proven Champions
Experienced Team. Duke Bros. Racing is a limited partnership between Jerry Duke and Ron Duke. With over 70 years of combined drag racing experience on tracks from Michigan to Florida, Jerry and Ron have built a national reputation as winners. Ron has been a driver since age 16, driving a neighbor’s D/Gas ’57 Chevrolet and winning a trophy in his first race.
Jerry Duke, 59, is Product Development Manager for ACH Commerce. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and Cumberland University, majoring in business. He is a former marine. Jerry and his wife, Peggy McKnight Duke, have two children and attend the South End United Methodist Church.
Ron Duke, 54, is an ASE Certified Commercial Parts Specialist for Advance Auto Parts. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and Nashville State Technical Institute, majoring in mechanical engineering. Ron has two sons and is married to Dr. Peggy Smith Duke. Peggy, retired, writes and consults part time. She serves as a crew member. Ron and Peggy attend North Boulevard Church of Christ.
Winning Record. Duke Bros. Racing has competed locally, divisionally and nationally since the 1960s. Local track performance is yet unparalleled. As former IHRA national event winners, the team has racing experience at every level of Super Gas and Super Rod sportsman racing.

In the 2005 season, Ron was runner-up at the O’Reilly Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, TN. He won races at Music City Raceway and Beech Bend Raceway. Jerry Duke was runner-up at the NHRA Division 3 Sports Nationals Open in Bowling Green, KY.

Ron Duke’s technical knowledge has been featured in National Dragster’s former column, PitSide, written by Dave Morgan. Working with Penske Racing Shocks since 1996 Ron has broken new ground, resulting in a completely new design in drag racing shock absorbers.
